Hamels Handbag Happy Hour

The Hamels Foundation will host a Handbag Happy Hour at the Joseph Anthony Spa Retreat & Salon (243 Baltimore Pike, Glen Mills, PA 19342) on Thursday, April 25. The Cole Hamels Foundation is founded by Philadelphia Phillies Pitcher Cole Hamels and his wife Heidi. The foundation is dedicated to enriching the lives of children through the power of education by giving them the tools they need to achieve their goals. Women from the Philadelphia area, along with local boutiques, Skirt, Intermix, Aoki and Nich, to name a few as well as online boutiques Bag, Borrow, or Steal and CakeStyle, have donated gently worn and new designer purses for auction. Some of the designer brands include Diane von Furstenburg, Louis Vuitton, Kate Spade, Coach, Gucci, Judith Leiber and many more. Silent auctions will start at $75 and raffle tickets will be priced at 1 for $5 or 3 for $10. If you don't want to take a chance on missing out on your favorite bag, there will be a "buy it now" option on a few of the bags. Everyone is invited to the Spa & Salon from 9 am - 7 pm to view the handbags, purchase raffle tickets, and place silent auction bids. At 6 pm, enjoy complimentary drinks, hor d'oeuvres and dessert. Silent auctions and raffle drawings will be held at 7 pm. All are invited to come out for a great cause! Hope to see you there!
