The Jumpsuit

When looking for something to wear to a party, you might feel like you don't have a lot of options besides those skimpy little party dresses. Let's be real, not everyone is into wearing something like that, so I thought of 3 alternative outfits to spark your style creativity. The jumpsuit is a great start. It's simple, chic and easy to accessorize. You can find this look in tons of different styles: sleeveless, backless, lace, the list goes on and on.

Broiled Garlic Butter Oysters, a leading online grocery store, invited us to take the Online Grocer Challenge. It was super easy and enjoyable to do your food shopping right from the comfort and warmth of your own home. Also with the help of a bookmarklet called PopCart, I was able to gather all the ingredients needed from recipes I found on Pinterest (click the link to check out the recipes) with just the click of a button. The next day the food was delivered right to my doorstep, at a time frame that worked best for me. From seafood to veggies everything was fresh and just what I ordered. Not only did it help me push my limits when it came to cooking, but it was an enjoyable experience to try something new.

Out of all the colors out there, one might wonder, why in the world would you want to purposely dye your hair entirely grey? We usually associate grey hair as a thing of old age, wisdom and/or something we want to cover up, but why not look at it as a thing of beauty. Well for one thing, it looks pretty cool. Secondly, it fits in with the icy, grey winters (if you live in the northeast). Lastly, think of it as platinum instead of grey. As this trend is just starting to take off, I'm sure it will catch steam by celebs and bold beauty queens in 2015. If you're looking to change your hair color to something bold and out of the ordinary, why not give this a try. Check out more grey platinum hair inspiration on the Hair Fashion of Philly Pinterest board!

Having a big cozy scarf is ideal for this time of year. I probably own 10 or more scarves, but I usually wear three of them the most. The first one would have to be my infinity scarf. It's off white so it goes with pretty much everything. The only problem, of course, is it getting dirty with either makeup or even hot chocolate. The other two are a plain black and plan brown scarf that I like to wrap in a way that they looks like an infinity scarf. But for me, the only rule for finding the perfect winter scarf is the bigger, the better.

Tomorrow is National Cocoa Day and while most of us love a cup hot cocoa on a winter day, why not pamper your skin with cocoa as well. Palmer's makes some amazing beauty products with their cocoa butter formula. I've been using their products for a while now and I love what they do to my skin. The Skin Therapy Oil keeps my skin super hydrated which is very important this time of year. The Swivel Stick is amazing and even though you can use this on any area that need a little TLC, I mostly love to using this as a lip balm. And of course, their body lotion is exactly what you need to soothe your skin. You can pick up these Palmer's products and many more at your local drugstore.

Google+ Hangout with Nina Garcia & Friends

I'm so excited to announce that today at 3 pm EST, I will be joining JCPenney, JCPenney Style Voice Nina Garcia and Adam Moon, Women’s Fashion Director for JCPenney for a Google+ Hangout to discuss everything from holiday cocktail styling to emerging fashion trends for 2015! For today's look, I decided to go with the Cabin Cool look which is chic and cozy from head to toe. I love the Shaker-Stitch Sweater from MNG by Mango with these super comfy MNG by Mango Denim Jeggings. Of course, I had to add a little sparkle with this beautiful necklace from nicole by Nicole Miller. Be sure to join us here to be apart of the action and submit your style questions.

*This post is not sponsored, but I did receive a gift card to show off my personal style during the call. All opinions and expressions are mine.

Beauty gift sets are an awesome way to try out a new brand or items from your favorite brand that you've been wanting to try minus the full commitment. Best of all, most of the time you end up saving more money than if you were to buy each item individually, but I'm sure you knew that already. Here are ten beauty gift sets that I found irresistible ranging from $19 to $410.

Shopping season is well under way. Here are 5 tips on how to make your shopping trip more enjoyable plus a chance to win tickets to an advance screening of TOP FIVE!

1.  Wear comfortable shoes - Looking cute while shopping is a good thing, but don't over do it with shoes that will have you in pain within minutes. Outlet shopping and visiting malls like King of Prussia require a lot of shopping, stopping, and revisiting so be prepared.

2. Leave the coat, dress in layers - My biggest pet peeve about shopping in the winter is lugging around a big coat. Instead, I try to layer up by wearing a long comfy cardigan, a scarf, or a slouchy sweatshirt. Just think it's easier to put those items in a shopping bag or tie that around your purse, then a huge coat.

3. A cross body bag is a shoppers best friend - Hands free shopping is always easiest when you're not carrying extra baggage. The average women's purse can weigh up to 6.27 lbs according to Carrying that on your arm can and will definitely weigh you down.

4. Know where to go - Plan ahead so you don't waste time. Know what stores you want to go to and try not to get distracted. Every retailer will be trying to lure shoppers in with the lowest prices of the season, but remember as the season goes on, the prices will keep getting lower. Do your research for extra savings from printable coupons, mobile coupons, and rewards to get the best bang for your buck.

5. Take a break - Whether it's a lunch break or even a movie break, make sure you take a break. Long mall hours can make you delusional and you can easily lose track of time. Make sure you take the time to eat or enjoy a movie.

Speaking of movies, we would like to treat one reader and a guest to an advance screening of TOP FIVE starring Chris Rock, Rosario Dawson, Gabrielle Union,  Cedric The Entertainer, and the list goes on and on.  The screening will take place at the United Artist in King of Prussia on December 9. If you're interested in winning the tickets, simply complete the task in the widget below. Winners will be notified via Twitter, so make sure you're following @FashionofPhilly. Giveaway will end Monday, December 8 at 11:59 p.m. I can't wait to announce the winner!
