Finding the Perfect Winter Coat with JACK1T

Special thanks to JACK1T for partnering with me for this post.

It may have been a mild November for most of the month, but one thing is for sure, it will get colder. So now is the ideal time to find that perfect winter coat because you never know when the frigid winter chill will creep it's way in. When it comes to shopping for outerwear, let's be honest the options available to the masses aren't always that appealing or unique. For the most part, you have to juggle sacrificing style for warmth and warmth for style, but finding a coat that can offer both is a dream come true. Here are a few things I look for when shopping for a winter coat.

Warmth

When I found out about JACK1T, I was blown away by their brand. The variety of styles and outstanding quality was definitely something that made them stand out amongst the competition.  I've always wanted a down filled coat, which is getting harder and harder to find these days. However, JACK1T has an endless array of down filled and even wool coats to fit your style needs.

Comfort

When it comes to comfort, you also have to factor in practability. Most of us aren't cross-country skier or hiking the alps, so we basically need our outerwear to be able to make us look good, keep us warm and have enough pockets for the things we need to carry. A style that checks all those boxes for me is the Royale Quilt Down Coat. It has a sculpted fit with waisted quilting to give a slimmer silhouette, which everyone wants especially when wearing a winter coat. There's back vents with snap and zip fastenings for a lil extra room in the leg/butt area allowing you to move with ease. . I always love a 2-way front zipper giving you the option to unzip from the bottom, creating an easy way to open up your coat to reach a pocket or have some extra room when sitting down. Let's not forget one of the most important things, pockets. Not only do you have an internal pocket sized right for your phone or your wallet, but there is also two HUGH hip pockets to store everything and anything else you can't be without.

Style

The Royale Quilt Down Coat is styled in a unique way from it's tricolor taping on the sleeve with eye-catching die cast JACK1T badges to a luxe, dense and detachable faux fur hood, offering amazing protective from the elements. The color I went with is grey and may look subtle, but the design commands attention in any room. However, if you're looking for something a little more trendy, you'll love their Street Sport, Street Down, and Diamond Down collections. JACK1T also carries a number of Men's styles for that special guy in your life.

Quality

With over 30 years of exceptional streetwear design, JACK1T collaborates lean lines with oversized pieces. Each product is made in small batches to ensure global scarcity, targeting a premium, fashion aware clientele. Whether it’s a quality down or leather jacket, or a wool rich peacoat, each JACK1T piece is made from the latest in garment technology, combined with hand sewing from specialists in England. JACK1T offers international free shipping, free returns, and premium recyclable packaging, You can also Pay in 3 with Klarna making your new investment affordable.

With my dream winter coat by side, I'm ready for any weather Old Man Winter throws my way. To find your perfect winter coat with JACK1T, visit JACK1T.com

Diadora x King Saladeen Exclusively at Foot Locker

Local Philadelphia artist King Saladeen teamed up with Diadora to create a very special collection featuring the Diadora Maverick "JP Tennis Shoe" ($150) and Diadora N9002 "Museum Runner ($175) - two of the brands most iconic silhouettes. Both styles will be available in Men's sizes 8-12.5, which leaves me a little jealous since I wear a Men's size 6.

"This shoe is highly inspired by my best friend John JP Thompson’s love for the sport of tennis. While growing up most of our major influences were basketball and football players, or musicians, however JP would always talk about participating in Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis Camp and make me watch the US Open. The Diadora Maverick is the original tennis shoe so I wanted incorporate the tennis ball theme to make the shoe stand out on the court and off while keeping it true to the original aesthetic.” – King Saladeen

“The inspiration for the Museum Runner comes from being an athlete and an artist in Philadelphia, where so many people run the Philadelphia Museum steps. With the N9002  being one of the most iconic Diadora runners, the Double Action technology, cushioning and ultra-modern look mixed with my iconic Money Bear and touches of my art, makes perfect for any athlete and art lover. It’s like a conversation piece for your feet.” – King Saladeen

Both of the iconic looks offer a unique style with their own story and can be artwork perfect for the avid sneakerhead or a Philadelphian looking for something to represent their hometown,  The collection is set to launch Saturday, November 14 exclusively at the Foot Locker Community Power Store in Cedarbrook, located at 3001 W. Cheltenham Ave Suite 2000, Wyncote, PA 19095. Want to learn more about King Saladeen? I highly suggest you visit his website at KingSaladeenArt.com.
