Main Line Fashion Week kicks off next week and of course we have all the details on this not to be missed event!

Fashion of Philly was invited to a press preview of The Auto Show thanks to Drive the District and Buick. I haven't been to The Philadelphia Auto Show in a while so it was nice to get a glimpse of the newest Buick vehicles to hit the road in 2014!
Taylor Swift made this week's cut with a look everyone can afford. The pop/country star was headed to the airport wearing the $14.95 day dress from H&M! What a steal! The sunnies we also found at H&M for only $5.95. The bag may look familiar because we used it in the last Celeb Look for Less with Alexa Chung, but it was such a perfect fit that we used it again. I'm starting to think that tote bags are going to be "the" bag silhouette for spring. She may have paired this look with heels, but we're keeping it causal with a pair of flats instead. To finish the look, we chose popping red nail polish and lip color both from Butter London. What do you think?

Hello everyone! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend! Today is the conclusion of the mascara review. Out of the three brands I've tried: They're Real by Benefit Maybelline Volum' Express, and the L'Oreal  Voluminous Butterfly, my favorite would have to be the Benefit They're Real Mascara. I love everything about the mascara from the shape of the wand to the way it curls and lengthens your lashes. I actually have to buy some more because I'm running out of the small bottle I got from Sephora.
Stay tuned for March's Beauty Diaries where we'll be discussing blush! Do you have a favorite blush product? Let us know in a comment below!

Charmed Life, two words that would describe the Erin Fetherston's Fall/Winter 2014 Collection. Inspired by the legendary Barbizon Hotel in New York, where famous icons like Grace Kelly, Cybill Shepard and Edith Bouvier Beale came to live the glamorous life. The collection was beautiful and full of different textures including lace and jacquards. If you read my review on Dom Streater's collection, you already know I'm in love with the romantic floral motifs. Simply Elegant!

Our visit to The London NYC was fun and chic. If you've been following Fashion of Philly on Instagram, I'm sure you've seen photos and a quick video thanks to @SharpShooter83 of our late lunch break. The London NYC is the Preferred Hotel of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. During the month of February, The London Bar releases a exclusive list of cocktails for fashion enthusiasts with fun names like the Haute Toddy, Front Row, Glamazon and L.B.D. I ordered the Front Row and it was super delis. If you're in the New York area, you still have a few days left to try out the menu out for yourself.

Celeb Look for Less: Alexa Chung

The new Peter Pilotto for Target Collection has been a huge hit with the celebrities. Many of them showed up for the Launch Party during NYFW including style icon, Alexa Chung. She styled one of the skirts with a baby blue mock turtleneck, black tights, heels and a tote bag. Here's how you can pull off her easy look for less.

You may remember my style post back in December featuring my Natalie Scoop Double Shoulder bag by Emilie M. It was my first Emilie M. handbag and I'm really please with the bag and the quality. It's big enough to hold all of my accessories and electronic gadgets when I have to blog on the go. The vegan leather is durable and holds the shape of the bag very well no matter what I put it through. Recently, the company wanted to know if I wanted to extend my new favorite with my readers and of course I said, "Yes"!

The last mascara product I wanted to review was the Voluminous Butterfly Mascara from L'Oreal Paris. I purchased this from Ulta for about $8.99, but it was on promo for Buy One, Get One 50% Off and I had a 20% off coupon. I got the color Black Brown because all of the mascara products I've ever own were black and I wanted to try something different. I've been wearing it on days when I'm wearing makeup, but keeping it very neutral.

I truly enjoyed visiting the Dom Streater's Presentation during NYFW! Her Fall/Winter collection entitled "Prima" including a mix of bold yet minimalist prints that are both feminine and sophisticated. Inspired by the world's first Russian prima ballerina, Anna Pavlova, the silhouettes are elegant and timeless.

One of my favorite holidays is Valentine’s Day! A day to celebrate your love and to tell your loved one how much he/she means to you! I try my best to show it all year round, but on Valentine’s Day I try to go a bit further and be silly. The goal is to make Valentine’s Day super special for both you and your partner, going out to a nice dinner, exchanging gifts, and being romantic. I have to be honest with you, there are some times that I don’t really know what to get him, or worse give a repeated gift. Men are very simple, yet very complicated. This is the reason why I wanted to write this post. A little guide to find the perfect gift for this Valentine’s Day. But remember, the best gifts come from the heart!

Celeb Look for Less: Rita Ora #NYFW Edition

NYFW is a little more than half way through and of course there were many celebs sitting front row at the shows. Rita Ora was spotted at DKNY wearing the a favorite of fall/winter print, tartan. The only thing that threw me a little off about her look was the strappy heels. I know most rules of the fashion world are fading away, i.e. mixing prints, no white after labor day, etc, but seriously it's freezing outside. Anyhow, she became the inspiration for today's Celeb Look for Less! What do you think? Are you daring enough to pull off strappy heels in the middle of winter?

Last week, I started using my Maybelline Volum' Express Falsies Big Eyes Washable Mascara. I picked this up at Ulta, but you can also find it at most drugstores. Although, I love how the mascara comes with two brushes, one for the top lashes and one for the bottom, I feel like the brush for the upper lashes grabs much better. Maybe it has to do with the varied length in bristles on the upper lash brush. The lower lash brush is very small, but it does get the job done. If you're looking to purchase this mascara because it comes with a brush for the lower lashes, I would have to say it's not that necessary.

When the weather is so dark and gloomy and cold, it's hard to think of any other color to wear except gray, black, or other neutral colors. I can't wait until spring! It's feels like this winter has been dragging on forever. Sometimes it's harder to get myself out of the house, but I did and was happy to do so. So I threw on my "Not Your Daughter's Jeans" Snake Skin Printed Jeans, a light gray long sleeve tee from Express and layered it with a Moto Denim Vest that I picked up at last year's Philly Swap Party!

This polar vortex is really wearing out it's welcome and with weather this harsh it's extremely important to keep your skin and lips hydrated. Vaseline products have always been my number reliable source for keeping my skin moisturized and now they're paying special attention to your lips. The new Vaseline Lip Therapy Rosy Lips is a sheer tinted lip product that adds deep moisturization to your lip care routine. The container is portable making it easy to store in your clutch or makeup bag so you can kiss those chapped lips goodbye.

Last week, we were invited to the Urban Decay Philly store to preview their new Naked Lipgloss line. The collection of 9 glossy shades are creamy and acts like a lip balm containing Vitamin E, Avocado Oil, and Shea Butter to hydrate and condition your lips. With so many glosses on the market, it's great to have one made with natural ingredients without scarifying pigmentation.

Let's face it going to NYFW is really exciting, but this winter weather can make things unbearable. The question that usually comes to my mind is, what am I going to wear. Well in a perfect world, it would probably be something similar to the above. A stylish fitted dress that flares out at the bottom like this one from Moda Operandi. Paired with the perfect coat of course and a pair of over-the-knee boots, a must have for winter fashion. In the accessories department, I would love to add some sparkle with diamond hoop earrings from Diamondere and a clutch to fit only the necessities.

If you're wondering, it's time for NYFW, not Paris Fashion Week, what's up with the PFW sign? Well, this style post has been submitted as a guest post that could hopefully win me a trip to Paris Fashion Week thanks to 39nineteen.comGuess what!!!! I'm in the running to win a trip to Paris Fashion Week! I need everyone's support! Click here to submit your vote! The polls are open until February 14th and you can vote once every 24 hours! Thanks so much! Safe warm and stay fashionable everyone!

Emma Roberts looked adorable while showing her support at the Hollywood Stands Up to Cancer Event last week. Pairing black with navy can be something a few of us might struggle with, but add some inspiration and it appears much more simple. Her cashmere jeweled collar top is from Kate Spade, but we copied the look by adding a gold collar necklace instead. (FYI: We did find her exact sweater currently on sale for $148 on!) Grab a few other metallic accessories and your ready for a fun night out.

Hey Everyone! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. (If you're a Broncos fan, don't cry there's always next year.) So as I had explained in January, I wanted to include more beauty post on Fashion of Philly. We started off reviewing different types of lashes and now I feel it's only right to move on to mascara.
