About the Founder
Hello everyone and thank you for visiting Fashion of Philly! My name is Brittiny Stewart. I am the Founder and Editor of FashionofPhilly.com. I have always loved fashion. When I was younger, I loved watching fashions shows and looking through my Mom's fashion magazines. Growing up in the small town of Willingboro, New Jersey, always led to dreams of the big city, but that didn't necessarily mean the Big Apple. Instead, I chose to go to school in Philly at The Art Institute of Philadelphia for Fashion Marketing. While there, I got to meet others that shared the same passion and found out that Philly had it's own fashion scene. This is what sparked the idea for Fashion of Philly. Since I couldn't really find a site simply devoted to Fashion in Philly, I decided to create one on my own. Thus FashionofPhilly.com was launched in November 2010.
Along with being a blogger, I have also worked as a Promoter for Philadelphia's Hit Music Station Q102 and held associate and management positions at some of my favorite retailers. During college, I interned at Michael Kors at their New York corporate office learning allocations and later with Athropologie in Marlton doing visuals. I am also a mother to a wonderful little boy named Darius, who is a huge inspiration in my life. My dream has always been to open my own boutique, but I would also love to be a fashion stylist. Being a fashion blogger is hard work, but I know it pays off. Remember you will always have obtacles thrown your way, but learn from them and keep moving. Don't let anyone or anything make you feel like you can't succeed and always believe in your dreams.

About Fashion of Philly
Fashion of Philly was created for the fashion lovers of the Philadelphia Tri-State area. Ever since its launched in November 2010, we strive to be Philadelphia's #1 destination for the latest in fashion news, beauty trends and other realated events happening in the Tri-State area. We've covered such events such as Philly Fashion Week, Fashion's Night Out, Simon's Fashion Now at King of Prussia Mall, The Philadelphia Collection and many more. Fashion of Philly carries an ongoing relationship with some of the most respected PR companies in the area and even New York. We recently have worked with Allied Integrated Marketing on movie premieres including Katy Perry's Part of Me and Ruby Sparks. We are always looking for new ways to gain and expand our audience through social media, giveaways, and engaging post. In the future, we plan on expanding to include editorial shoots, more fashion videos, and hosting our very own events!
