Preakness at the Piazza

Preakness at the Piazza will be an event unlike any other. It's a chance for Philadelphia's Young Professionals to get together to raise money and awareness for the fight against Multiple Sclerosis. If you're not familiar with the effects of MS, it's a chronic often disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system and affects thousands of young adults each year. MS was something I wasn't too familiar with until my mother was diagnosis with the crippling disease. She has her good days and bad days. Days where she can walk and days when she can't get out the bed, but I know everyday she tries her hardest to live her life normally.

This great event will be the first of its kind in Philadelphia. Your ticket will include all you can eat, drink and party. Attendees are asked to dress appropriately; girls in derby hats and guys in bow ties. Just think Audrey Hepburn in My Fair Lady, but with a Philly twist. If you need a little bit of inspiration on what to wear check out my Pinterest board dedicated to Piazza Style Picks. The Preakness annual horse race will appear on the Piazza's 40 foot outdoor screen as guest enjoy music by Philadelphia's own DJ Royale (featured on VH1's "Master of the Mix) and many surprises including raffles, silent auctions and local celebrities. The Preakness at the Piazza will definitely be this season's most talked about event.
