Car Review: The Mitsubishi Outlander LE

January is almost over and I have to say its been a pretty good month. One of the highlights of the month was being able to review the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander LE, one of Mitsubishi's Crossover vehicles! I enjoyed running around in the Outlander, doing everything from day to day task to going out with friends and family.

I took the car out to the city a few times to handle some business during the day and for a good time at night. At one time, I was helping my sister with her party planning business and since the trunk space was enormous, we were able to load up the back seat/trunk area with tons of supplies and equipment. Loading and unloading was a breeze thanks to the keyless remote. With the keys in my pocket or purse all I had to do was press a button to easily lock and unlock the door/trunk with ease.

Knowing that the Outlander was equipped with Blind Spot Protection, gave me confidence while driving on the Schuylkil, because we all know how crazy the traffic gets. Cruising in the Eco Mode setting helped converse gas while driving from Jersey to Philly. On the other hand, I loved being able to kick it into high gear at time with the Sport Mode feature. The vehicle evens has a snow mode, but thankfully we didn't have to deal with that. However, it was nice to have seat warmers for those cooler nights and sunroof for those random warmer days.

Later on in the week, we joined the Philly Restaurant Week festivities and went to dine at the Spice 28. Finding the place was not a problem because the Mitsubishi Outlander LE comes standard with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. I really loved this feature because I can be completely hands-free and have my phones features like navigation, text messages, weather and phone calls all at the tips of my fingers or with the sound of my voice. Android Auto was very easy to set up and control and was extremely helpful.

Another thing that surprised me about the Mitsubishi Outlander was that it holds room for seven! Remember all that trunk space I mentioned early, well you still get great storage after lifting up the additional two seats in the back. It's great carpooling, exploring with friends, or hosting a playdate. If you're looking for a new vehicle, especially a crossover, you may want to consider the Mitsubishi Outlander Limited Edition. If you're headed to the Philly Auto Show, stop by the Mitsubishi section and see it for yourself.
