Join me for a Kentucky Derby Party! #WLHDerby

I am super excited to share with you a special event coming up on Saturday, May 7th! It's time to break out your Derby attire and get ready for a good time! West Laurel Hill will be hosting their 4th annual Kentucky Derby Party to benefit Hope Springs Equestrian Center. The mission of Hope Springs Equestrian Therapy is to enhance the quality of life of individuals with cognitive, physical, emotional or behavioral disabilities by providing them with affordable therapeutic horseback riding and associated special education of the highest possible quality, in a warm, safe and familiar environment.

"West Laurel Hill is dedicated to giving back to the communities we serve and helping organizations further their mission. When we learned of Hope Springs Equestrian Therapy Center and how they’ve  helped hundreds of children and adults with disabilities, we felt it was an exceptional organization to adopt and support for the next few years.” – Deborah Cassidy, Director of Sales, Marketing and Family Services.

There will be a live viewing of The Kentucky Derby where guests can guess the winning horse, along with other raffles, door prizes, and giveaways. All of the proceeds will benefit Hope Springs Equestrian Therapy Center.

For $45 a ticket, guests can expect live music from The Red Hot Ramblers, an authentic 1920’s Prohibition Era Jazz Ensemble, delicious food catered by Feastivities, decadent derby inspired cupcakes from Cupcakes By Ruthand mint juleps to sip on along with other delicious drinks. WLH will also offer horse and carriage rides through their beautiful groundsInstashack will be there to take memorable photos and capture everyone dressed to the nines in their derby attire.

Speaking of great style, this year I was chosen to be one of the celebrity judges who will hand-picked one male and female for best dressed! Other judges include:

- Geno Vento - Owner of the award winning Geno’s Steaks. Geno has a good eye for high end fashion, and will be checking to make sure all bow ties are tied correctly.
- 96.5 AMP RADIO’S Bex: On-air mornings 6am-10am. Bex is a huge fashion vixen and is determined to find the best derby accessory in the crowd.
- Patricia Nogar- Host of “Living Well with Pat Nogar”. She is a Kentucky Colonel, and will be using her Kentucky Roots to find the best dressed guest!

So start planning now to look your your best later. Not sure what to wear? Don't worry, next week I'll be posting some Style Inspiration based on the theme! I can't wait to have a good time at this amazing event. Click here to purchase your ticket!
