Good Eats: Nick's Old City Bar & Grille

The restaurants are constantly changing in Philadelphia. Wether it be a completely new name to the scene or a familiar face with a new menu. Nick's Old City Bar & Grille (16 South 2nd Street, Old City, Philadelphia, PA 19016) recently launched their new BBQ menu and we were invited to a tasting party to take a bite into some fresh flavors.

A few things that were on the menu:

Maker's Slush -

Double Pig - a ground bacon burger, topped with pulled pork, cheddar cheese, jalapeños, frizzled onions and Bistro sauce

Pulled Pork Sandwich (1Pig) - rubbed, smoked, & pulled, jalapeño slaw, and roll

Nick's Chicken Wings - rubbed, smoked, & fried, then seasoned w/ Nick's rub

St. Louis BBQ Spare Ribs

Mac & Cheese

Baked Beans

Everything was delicious, especially the wings! If you love crunchy, tasty, smokey wings, I highly suggest you give them a try. I didn't try the burger because I don't eat beef, but they do serve turkey and Veggie burgers as well. The ribs were also really delectable and fall-off-the-bone good.

So if you're looking for a place to find some good BBQ in Old City, stop by Nick's Bar & Grille, taste their new menu, and take a seat in their newly designed, unique dining room!
