#NewUNIQLO Comes to Philadelphia


Global fashion retailer, UNIQLO will be opening 3 stores in the Philadelphia area this spring and in fall 2014. The first store to open will be in the King of Prussia Mall on May 16! 

The opening weekend will be full of giveaways and performances that include:

  • Traditional Japanese Taiko drum performances: Friday, May 16, 5:00PM – 7:00PMSaturday, May 17, 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm; and Sunday, May 18, 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm;
  • UNIQLO tote bag giveaway to the first 500 customers each day, Friday, May 16 through Sunday, May 18;
  • A free AIRism* item with every purchase of $50 or more, Friday, May 16 through Sunday, May 18; AIRism is a revolutionary innerwear product that absorbs and wicks away sweat providing effortless comfort, dryness and odor reducing properties;
  • Grand opening special prices will be offered from Friday, May 16 through Monday, May 26 Memorial Day
The other two stores set to open this Fall include a location in Center City on October 3 (1608 Chestnut St) and one at the Willow Grove Park Mall on October 10. “Opening in Philadelphia, the birthplace of American democracy, is a proud milestone for UNIQLO.  We trust that our everyday basics of exceptional value and functional apparel, will appeal to all in the City of Brotherly Love,” said Larry Meyer, CEO of UNIQLO USA and Fast Retailing Group Senior Vice President.
