The Lash Diaries: NYX Lashes

Back in April of last year, I picked up two sets of NYX lashes in styles 112-Secret and 113-Review. These are the first lashes I've ever purchased and I think it was more of an impulse buy then anything because I found them surprisingly at PacSun on sale for $2.99 each. When I first tried to apply the lashes, it was no good. The glue was very difficult to work with, in my opinion, so I just gave them a rest and said maybe another time. I finally came back around to using these lashes sometime in November/December after purchasing a different type of glue, but you'll have to come back next week to find out which one I prefer.

Pros: NYX lashes can be found in tons of locations and you can usually find them on sale. They're available in both natural and synthetic hair lashes and if you're interested in ordering online, you can sign up for emails and receive coupons.

Cons: The glue is horrible. Applying it from the tube is difficult and if you're a beginner like me, it's not that easy of an adhesive to work with.

My overall review: NYX lashes are fun and look natural when applied correctly. I like the variety of styles available, but I would suggest using a different glue.

Have you tried NYX lashes? What was your first impression?
