PFW Honors Fern Mallis

“This post is sponsored by Everywhere Agency; however, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.“

Philadelphia Fashion Week begins Monday, August 31 and there'll be tons of fashionable events to look forward to. One of those events is happening at Macy's Center City on Thursday, September 3 at 5pm. During this free fashion event, fashion industry leader and award-winning creator of NY Fashion Week, Fern Mallis, will be honored. Once NY Fashion Week was acquired by IMG, Mallis became the Senior VP and made a name for herself by starting a Fashion Week in locations like Miami, Los Angeles, and Berlin. She’s also been featured on America’s Next Top Model, Project Runway, and She’s Got the LookFern Mallis will be honored by Kevin Parker, on behalf of Philadelphia Fashion Week, and Nicole Fischellis, on behalf of Macy’s.

Since it is Philadelphia Fashion Week there will also be presentations from local designer Autumn Lin, as well as Bishme Cromartie, and Closet By Christobal by Christopher Brow. Autumn Lin was featured as a runner up on Styled to Rock by Rihanna on Bravo and in a 10-page editorial in Harper's Bazaar. Autumn has also been featured in Couture Fashion Week, NY fashion Week and is always a participant in Philadelphia Fashion Week. Bishme Cromartie has been a featured in Elle, Harper's Bazaar, Vogue and a plethora of other major publications and her work has been seen on celebrities for red carpet events, TV appearances and award shows. Closet By Christobal by Christopher Brown has also been featured in Vogue, Zink Magazine, and Harper's Bazaar VN, just to name a few. Closet by Christobal is a designer to watch with a new retail store opening this fall.

This will be an event you won't want to miss! Of course, I will be there covering all the action. Hopefully, I'll get to meet some of you there. Make sure you come ready to shop the latest Fall trends because with every $30 purchase made that day, customers will be able to get an autographed copy of Mallis' book! For more information, visit http://bit.ly/PhillyFashion15 and don't forget to share the excitement on social media using the hashtag #PFW2015!
