Joan Shepp Designer Event 11/27/10

Saturday, November 27th, Joan Shepp will be hosting a Designer Event featuring Costume Jewelry Designer and Artist, John Wind. His Miximal Art Collection, founded in 1985, is full of vintage inspired, modern ornaments with a hint of Victorian glamour. Wind, a Philadelphia native, studied at the Slade School of Art in London and started his collections based off the frequent trips he took to the markets in Paris. There he would purchase special pieces, take them apart, then rearrange them in his own way. His one of a kind treasures gained much attention and became permanent fixtures of the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and in the Musee des Arts Decoratifs in Paris. His work has also been seen in Oprah's Gift Guide, Instyle and Country Living Magazines.
