Delicious Boutique began creating handmade corsets in 1995 and since then their company has expanded greatly. The Delicious Boutique & Corseterie was opened in November of 2005 on Liberites Walk in the Northern Liberities section of Philadelphia. Just four years later, a men's store was opened with the name Delicious Sideshow based in the Piazza at Schmidts. The Delicious assortment now includes, not only corsets in a wide array of styles for any occasion but also accessories, jewelry, and gifts. They are a unique, circus style boutique is definitely worth checking out!
Dorian's Parlor is an exciting event full with tons of festivities and will be hosted at the Double Tree Hotel of Center City on 237 South Broad Street. Tickets are only $25.00 and you'll receive:
- A drink ticket and hors d'oeuvres
- A live performance from Ego Likeness, a dark electric/dance group
- Opera from Katie Kat
- A fashion show by Philly's own Delicious Boutique
- Two DJ's: Johnanna Constatine & KiltBoy
- A Celtic dance from Eve of Isis, a two member belly dance fusion group
- A book reading from teen fictional author Dianne K. Salerni
- An animation showing of Tesia Experiments from Twain in Vain Film
The event will start at 8 p.m. and goes on til 1 a.m. Discounted parking will be offered by Double Tree Hotel (Cash Only Please). There will also be door prizes and lots of interesting vendors.
