Hope you all have been enjoying the lovely weather we've been having lately. I know I have been trying to make it a point to go out and enjoy it every chance I get. With the temperatures warming up it maybe time to add some new pieces to your wardrobe and as always FemmeLuxe has some new looks you'll love. I ordered a few items that can be worn as sets or separately. When it comes to buying sets it's like getting more bang for your buck because you can wear them with so many combinations that'll have you looking fresh all spring long! Surprisingly, my choice in colors has become very neutral toned, so everything I ordered is either a shade of brown or black. This makes it easier to pair outfits together throughout the season.
The first look I want to talk about is the Black and Brown Patterned Long Sleeve Crop "Sienna" Jumper. It's super cozy and trendy. It's perfect to wear for day or night. During the day, you can pair it with some ultra high rise leggings and black sneakers to keep it causal. At night, you can throw it over a simple tank dress or with faux leather joggers like I'm wearing in the pic above. Don't forget add your favorite black heels to complete the look. The jumper comes in S/M or M/L and I am wearing the M/L just for a size reference.
This Black PU Cuffed Joggers are another versatile, transitional item to own. Once the sun goes down, it can be very chilly, but having joggers like these can easily take you from day to night without sacrificing your personal style. They are very comfortable and I love that they're cropped to show off your favorite sneakers or heels. They also have a drawstring to give it that casual feel like sweatpants. This time instead of wearing them with the cropped jumper I styled them with a bodysuit and sneakers. This allowed me to create a more sporty vibe. The site also carries these in a khaki green color, which I love! If you're not sure what size to order, I am wearing a size 14, I usually am like a size 12, but I wanted them to fit a bit baggy, so if you're looking for that type of fit I suggest you size up.
This next look is one of their Knitted Co-Ord sets. I wore this out to dinner when I was staying at the Four Seasons in Philadelphia and got so many compliments on it! I really love this set! Not only does it look adorable, but you feel great wearing it. It's comfortable, but polished. I wore this with a pair of strapped heel sandals and a quilted purse to complete the look. This Stone Cable Knit Midi "Bess" Co-Ord, of course can be worn together, but the sweater alone would be great pair with a pair of mom jeans and slip on sneakers for an everyday look. This is a style I think anyone can pull off, no matter your age or body type.
Last but not least, I had my eyes on this sweater Stone Oversized Split Side Knitted "Lore" Jumper for some time and now I finally got my hands on it! I love the oversized look making it very comfy, but having the splits on the sides gives it a little spice. It was a beautiful spring day, so I chose to wear it with a pair of faux leather leggings and sneakers, but I can see myself wearing this sweater in the summer maybe with a pair of denim shorts or even stretchy, black biker shorts.
When it comes to shopping for new looks for spring, here are a few things to keep in mind. Try not to overthink it. Find a color palette that works for you and then it'll be easier to find other pieces to mix and match that will easily compliment each other. Make sure you're comfortable in your new outfits and look for easy transitional pieces you can wear while the weather warms up like Knitted Loungewear. Most importantly have fun with your looks, take the risk, and try something new. You never know what your new signature style could be.
