Product Review: Creme of Nature Pure Honey Collection

As a member of Influenster, I get to try lots of awesome products in exchange for review from brands I know and love. Recently, I was sent a few products from Creme of Nature's Pure Honey Collection. I usually don't wear my natural hair out, but I decided to give it a try for the new year. Here's a list of the items that was sent to me:

Before this, I was wearing a sew-in and my hair had gotten dry and needed to be detangled. Lately, before washing my hair, I detangle it with some sort of conditioner so that when the water hits my hair it doesn't knot up and the process goes by a little smoother. So I used the Creme of Nature Pure Honey Knot Away Leave-In Detangled to make sure my hair was manageable when washing it with their Pure Honey Moisturizing Dry Defense Shampoo. I didn't need to use much of the shampoo for it to get the job done.  Next I followed up with the Moisturizing Dry Defense Conditioner and made sure to comb that thru from root to tip. My hair was really soaking up this stuff and my 4C curls were starting to take shape.

Once I was finished combing the conditioner throughout my hair, it's time to wash it out. I heard rinsing your hair with cold water helps hold the moisture in. After lightly drying my hair with a microfiber towel, it's now time to detangle with the leave-in detangled again. I like that this stuff is light-weight and doesn't make my hair heavy or sticky. Now it's time to make the curls pop by adding the Pure Honey Shrinkage Defense Curl Activator. Again, you want to apply this from root to tip and for different sections of your hair, you can twirl the hair around your finger to help define your curls. The last step is totally optional, but you can lay down your edges with their Argan Oil from Morocco Perfect Edges Extra Hold to complete the look. I linked all the items used below so you can add them to your haircare routine and try them for yourself.
