Dining at the Moshulu

My family is big on celebrating anniversaries. It's a time for us to get together and celebrate how much our family has grown and make great memories. This year for my oldest sister's anniversary we went to Moshulu on Columbus Blvd in the Penn's Landing section of Philadelphia. It was my first time dining at the historical boat on the Delaware River even though I've seen it plenty of times.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated and surrounded by amazing views of the city and waterfront. Not to mention the awesome lighting and decor in the restroom. I couldn't help but to take a selfie.

For starters, my hubby and I shared a plate of the Philly sushi rolls made with Smoked Salmon, Cream Cheese, Cucumber, and Ikura. It was very delicious and a must-have for your next visit.

For the main course, I had one of my favorite dishes, the New England Lobster Roll! (Click here to find out where you can get one at Disney Springs in Orlando, Florida!) The roll was buttered to perfection and the coleslaw was incredible.

Hubby went with Lamb Sliders topped with goat cheese and a very tasty salad. Since this is offered as a starter he also added a side of yummy Crab Mac & Cheese.

Darius enjoyed a shrimp cocktail all to himself (after making sure it wasn't some kind of adult drink...get it... cocktail...). As you can see from the thumb up of approval below it was a hit and I couldn't help but to sneak a couple of his truffle fries. Attention Parents: Even though Darius found something he liked, the Moshulu does not have a kids menu, so be sure to visit their menu page or feel free to call to see if special accommodations can be made.

One thing on my bucket list this summer is to revisit the Moshulu, but next time enjoy the food and festivities on The Deck with their tempting cocktails and Instagram-worthy shakes. If you haven't seen what the fuss is about, it's definitely worth a trip to their website.
