Summer Essentials: Roxy Flip Flops

This summer essential is close to our hearts in more ways than one. Some time ago, Roxy partnered with Flip Flop Shops to host a nationwide contest for one winner to design a limited edition Roxy flip flop benefiting the American Heart Association. Since this area is full of talent, the winner, 19-year-old Amanda Monroe of King of Prussia submitted her unique sketch and won the competition. She was then flown out to Roxy's headquarters in Huntington Beach, CA to see her creation come to life. The design is meant to represent her love of design and the calming benefits she achieves through drawing.

The limited edition flip flop will be sold at Flip Flop Shops and retail for $16. For each pair sold, $0.50 will be collected through "the Heart to Sole" creating a stress-free America campaign and be donated to the American Heart Association My Heart. My Life. healthy living initiative. So why the American Heart Association? Well the campaign was established after Flip Flop Shop's President and Co-Founder, Brian Curin, nearly lost his life to heart disease at 38, but survived thanks to emergency open heart surgery. What a great way to give back!

If you would like to purchase these life changing flip flops, make sure you stop by any Flip Flop Shop location, including their store in the King of Prussia Mall and pick up a pair today!
