The Holidays are here! This weekend is the biggest shopping weekend of the year. If you know don’t know what to buy the special men in your life, like your father, husband, boyfriend, or brother, here is a holiday gift guide. I’m pretty sure all of you don’t want to wait until the last minute to buy the perfect gift, so take advantage of the great deals out there! I hope my holiday gift guide comes in handy.
1. I love a man that can dress classy, but edgy. When Christmas comes around I love to buy work clothes for the men in my life. We all know men are not as thoughtful as we women are. It’s really rare for a man to say, “I need to buy more work clothes”. By work clothes, I don't mean a pair of Dickies and a collared T-shirt (although there’s nothing wrong with that at all). Wearing a nice suit to the office brings out confidence. It helps a man feel like a MAN when he goes into work or has to meet with clients. 2. Accessories, I love them. A watch can be the perfect gift that adds an extra touch of flair to a man’s personality. Remember, men are simple. Try to find a watch that best suits his style and not something that he will never wear. In this season, I am in love with Michael Kors watches for men. 5. Beats by Dre headphones are amazing! The sound quality is outstanding. This would be the perfect gift for those tech guys we all know and for those that are always listening to music. I think it’s pretty cool.
6. One of the biggest turn offs for a girl, well at least for me, is seeing a handsome guy that’s dressed nice, then look down, and BAM there they are - scuffed up shoes! I want to see my man all dressed up from head to toe! Shoes are important for all men and are definitely not just a woman thing. The perfect shoe can speak volumes. Right now, there’s many stores to choose to look for the right pair of shoe for that special someone. Stores like Macy’s, JCPenney, Clarks are all great options. It’s all about the style of the person you are trying to buy for. Buying shoes for a man is not that complicated. The way I choose is by looking at the style of the person and I based my decision on that. Ok, maybe that doesn’t sound too clear. Just keep it simple. If the man is athletic, sneakers would be a great option. If the man is a “dress up on a Tuesday afternoon” type of guy, then a pair of Oxfords will put a smile on his face. The key is to not overthink the situation.
7. A plaid shirt is one of the absolute “must-haves” for all men. You can dress it up and dress it down. A plaid shirt can be worn with jeans or with a pair of dress pants. Add that nice leather jacket to make that plaid shirt stand out.
