Before heading out on my vaca to sunny Florida, I got to attend a very lovely evening celebrating the first get together of the
Philly FABB Members. Philly FABB is a premiere network of fashion and beauty bloggers of the Philadelphia area. Each member is personally hand picked by Lauren Mantilla of
The Style Darling and Jessie Holeva of
TrendHungry.com. I must say that I feel so privileged to have been chosen among the other fabulous bloggers and I had a great time getting to know them. Also this event couldn't have come at a better time because Sandy took out my power for a week, which explains the "bad hair day" hat.

The Blogger Blowout Bash was held at the chic
Andre Richard Salon located on 1218 Locust Street. We were treated to Blowouts and Makeup applications by the Andre Richard stylists along with mani's by
doorBella.
Simply Adeline provided a DIY workshop of handmade mosaic and vintage-inspired jewelry. I picked this beautiful pastel colored triangle necklace seen
here which is perfect for spring. A representation from
Bad Rhino was there to give some tips and tricks on how to make the best of social media. Oh and let's not forget about the yummy bites thanks to
Opa Philadelphia and one of my favorite things to eat, cupcakes, provided by
Vickies Cupcakes. (BTW the buffalo chicken cupcakes were mind-blowing!!)
After a night of networking, laughter and pampering we were gifted goody bags featuring items from
Dermablend, which you can read about on the
New Beauty Page,
Fine Featherheads,
Monroe and Main, and many more. I really feel like being part of this awesome group will really help me grow as a blogger and many ways and I'm looking forward to great times ahead. To learn more about Philly FABB check out the site at
