Sneak Peek at Fashion Now King of Prussia

On Thursday, April 12, Fashion of Philly and other bloggers were invited on a Sip-n-Stroll. We got a sneak peek at the lastest trends retailers were offering for the Fashion Now event on April 20 & 21. The first stop was Bloomingdale's where they showed off the latest in neons, summer whites, and color blocking. Our favorite item was the green and blue neon bags from The Cambridge Satchel Company selling for under $100. We also got the first glimpse of the Beauty Event catalog that will be running April 19 - 29 and the beauty collection by Chanel.

From there we stopped by Touche Accessories located on the Upper Level of the Court. Touche Accessories is a quint boutique where you can find unique jewelry and accessories all manufactuered in Europe. When you walk into the shop it's like being transported to a boutique in the South of France. Touche is owned and operated by a mother and daughter team with years of experience. It's evident that they're very passionate about their business and have a way of making you feel welcome.

We then walked to the Plaza to stop at the fresh and hip Love Culture. Love Culture is a one stop shop to find everything you need for that perfect outfit, whether for the weekend or everyday. Not only do they have cute clothes, but they also offer tons of jewelry and shoes you'll fall head over heels for. Nothing in the store is priced over $40 which makes it easy to find a trendy outfit without breaking your wallet. Each section or room in the store is divided into themes, for example Up All Night is full of neon and party dress, while Lazy Days is home to finding something comfortable for a chill day. Love Culture is definately a must see store.

The next two stores can be described in one word "Sparkle" ('cause I refuse to use the word "Bling" in 2012). Bailey, Banks & Biddle introduced us to their very own high tech design studio. Here you can sit in an intimate setting and customize the ring of your dreams by choosing whatever setting and stone your heart (or wallet) desires. From there, we visited Tiffany's & Co. to view their new Rubedo Collection available in 19 styles priced from $200 to $8000. The Rubedo Collection marks Tiffany's 175th annverisary and is a blend of silver, cooper and gold metals. The Rubedo metal is the first of it's kind for Tiffany's and only for the year of 2012, each piece of the collection is inscribed with the Tiffany's signature.

From Tiffany's we strolled on over to the fun and quirky designs of Betsey Johnson. The Spring 2012 Collection is inspired by Brigitte Bardot and Burlesque dancers of the 1940's with silk flirty pieces, vibrant patterns, and peak-a-boo surprises. While snacking on some delicious red velvet cupcakes, we got to check out the looks for the runway show this Friday. I especially loved the mix of vintage appeal with a modern edge. Our last stop was Piazza Sempione, an Italian brand, celebrating 20 years making tailored clothes for the traveling women. All their pieces are manufactuered in Milan with a new collection released every 3 months. The shop also offers VIP services like dry cleaning, tailoring and personal shopping by appointments. Over the years, Piazza Sempione has become most famous for the "Audrey" pant designed after the iconic Audrey Hepburn, available all year long in different fabrics and colors.

I had a great time at the Sip-n-Stroll, meeting with the other bloggers and getting a sneak peek at some of the looks behind the Fashion Now Event. Make sure you come out both days to enjoy all the festivities as there will be much more to see. For more information check out KingofPrussiaMall.com. We hope to see you there!
