{Try-on Session} J. Jill

J. Jill Cherry Hill, NJ

Spring is officially in full swing and with spring weather comes a few new pieces to add to your wardrobe! Recently, J. Jill invited me to visit one of their locations to see what new pieces they had in store for the season. I've been in J. Jill a few times before and I always remember them having pieces that were not only built around style, but comfort. For this visit, I went to their Cherry Hill, NJ location. Their stylists were very welcoming and helpful. After I picked up a few items, they set up a fitting room for me and checked in to see if I needed any additional assistance.

J. Jill Spring Collection

Going in, I knew I wanted to try on one pair of jeans, a dress, and something from their Pure Jill Collection, which is made with fabrics that are easy to move around in. Trying on different type of clothes is definitely something I recommend when discovering a brand that's new to you. This is a great way to find out what pieces work for you from that particular brand. Not only may you find a few staple looks, but you may find a new style that you'll love.

J. Jill dress and denim jacket

Let's start with Look #1 A Border Print Maxi Dress ($129) paired with the Modern Utility Jacket ($119). This look was easy to put together and can go with a pair of strappy sandals or white tennis shoes, depending on the destination. If you live in the Philadelphia Tri-State area you know the weather in the spring can go from winter to spring to summer to fall all in one day! #IYKYK So, it was kind of a no brainer to add a jacket with a sleeveless dress.

J. Jill sweater and boyfriend jeans

For Look #2, I tried on this Textured 3/4 Sleeve V-neck Sweater ($89) in this beautiful yellow with THE softest pair of Boyfriend Jeans ($89) I've ever felt. This is easily something I would definitely wear when I have a day full of running around because you want to be comfortable. I love a good pair of boyfriend jeans because they give you that effortless laid back cool vibe without feeling restricted.

Pure Jill by J. Jill

Last, but not least, Look #3, is from their Pure Jill Collection. I gravitated towards the Double-Gauze Seamed Tunic ($89) a
nd Linen Trapunto-Stitch Pant ($89). This outfit was super lightweight, without being sheer. Something like this is what you want to be in when the hot weather returns. This look is ideal for the transitional weather from spring to summer, if you're planning ahead.

J. Jill Style

Something I found noteworthy about J. Jill is they carry petite sizes, which is hard to find in most retailers nowadays, especially in stores. So if you're a petite gal, make sure you save one of these pics to your Pinterest board for a future reference.
