Cooking with Parmigiano Reggiano

With a busy schedule, I don't often get to cook at home, but when I do I like to make sure it's pretty tasty. One of my favorite ingredients to include is cheese. It think anything with cheese (and bacon) can be amazing. Parmesan is just one of those cheese that have tons of possible combinations. Since I received this package from Parmigiano Reggiano  the "King of Cheese", I'd have a lot in the kitchen added it to my families meals. Parmigiano Reggiano has been making cheese for over 900 years in from Parma and its nearby provinces, all in Italy. In fact it is the only parmesan that's even from Italy!

The first way we got to experience the rich flavor of the 24 month aged Parmesan cheese is as a snack.  Not only is it rich in protein and calcium, but it's also has amazing flavor.  Another great way to enjoy the the naturally, lactose free cheese is on top of vegetables like roasted asparagus. My favorite, however, is melted over a hot bowl of yummy spaghetti, a dish my whole family loves! There's nothing like that classic taste! Discover more amazing recipes on
