The weather this was weekend was much better then last weekend's blizzard, so I was ready to get out and enjoy it. One thing I want to accomplish this year is exploring more of the local scene. Find amazing restaurants, plan exciting day trips and enjoy what's in my backyard. While I was snowed in last week, I searched foodnetwork.com for nearby places featured on the channel. South Jersey doesn't have as much as Philadelphia, of course, but I did find a few hidden gems. My first stop, Indulgence Cupcakery in Haddonfield, NJ.
Cupcakes are one of my favorite desserts, so when I read that Indulgence Cupcakery was featured on The Food Network's Cupcake Wars, I had to give them a try. We picked 6 to try: 2 Maple Bacon (their most popular favor), 2 Strawberry Cupcake, 1 Chocolate Salted Caramel, and 1 Cherry Pie.
They were equally enjoyable and I love how the favor is pumped thru the middle of the cupcake. If you love yummy cupcakes with a savory, yet sweet taste, I suggest you stop by Indulgence Cupcakery (43 Kings Hwy East, Haddonfield, NJ)!
