Good Eats: Revolution Taco

I'm always on the hunt for a great taco, especially a fish taco and I was pretty sure I would be able to find one at one of Philadelphia's newest eateries, Revolution Taco (2015 Walnut Street).

It was super crowded on opening day with tons of excitement. Also the buzz of free chicken tacos drew a big crowd, but with so many interesting choices, how could I eat just one. So can you guess which one I ordered? That's right, two of the Weekly Fish Tacos while Hubby played it safe with Smoked Chicken.

The fish of the week happened to be Mako Shark, sorry to all those who may not like that way that sounds, but it was really delis. I never had shark before...at least not Mako and I really loved the butter taste. The chicken tacos were pretty good especially with the goat cheese. If you're not into meat they offer a few vegan options like Fried Tofu and Smoked Mushroom. I can definitely see myself stopping back in for a few more. Some on my wishlist include the Roast Duck and the Chipotle BBQ Brisket. Thankfully, they're open 'til 9 Sunday to Thursday and 'til midnight on Friday and Saturday, so they're perfect for a late night break.

  1. That looks so good! I live in a small town in Oklahoma and we don't have ANYTHING like that! I grew up in New Orleans though, so you know I love some good food!
