Mongol Fall/Winter 2015

Mongolian designer Bayarmaa Bayarkhuu delivered her first Mongol Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Show, which was rich with culture. The collection was inspired by a combination of traditional Mongolian costumes, urban causal style and an entrepreneur lifestyle mixing tradition and luxury with causal comfort.

The show started with a music performance by Bilgunn and Ashit, a unique mash up of traditional Mongolian music and dub step. This in a way set the mood for the ready-to-wear collection incorporating sleek wearable pieces with Mongolian lamb fur outerwear, cashmere, and glossy hues with sparkle.

One thing I really loved about the collection was the headpieces. They were beautiful, elegant, and made a great addition to the looks.
