Starting Top Left: Christian Louboutin $995 saks.com,Nordstorn BP $59.95 nordstrom.com, Tom's $54 toms.com

Menswear is a hot trend for Fall 2011 and a staple in men's shoes is the loafer. Classic, simple and sophisticated, but will still make a statement without trying too hard. Here are a few penny-less styles to choose from (whether you need to save your pennies or not): Spiked, Leopard, and Houndstooth. I want all three of course, but for now I'll take the leopard.

Caramente Clothing

Caramente is a beautiful word that has two different kinds of meanings. In one situation it means "sweet faced" and on another hand it means "expensively". Brianna Prescott, Fashion Designer and CEO, used the name given to her by her Nonno (Grandfather) and started Caramente Clothing at the age of 17 in 2008. She describes the brand as having all different kinds of styles reflecting the many style changes in her own life. Brianna's goal for Caramente is to make all of their clothing, accessories or anything else in the future beautiful.

On September 1st, the Raw Store, located on 608 South 5th Street in South Philadelphia will be carrying Caramente and to celebrate they will be throwing an event from 4 to 7 featuring their male spokesperson and young upcoming rapper, Young Savage as well as other special guests. They will be selling men's and woman's t-shirts from their website caramenteclothing.com!

Dr. Martens Stomps to Philly

On a recent visit to Philly's Walnut St., my eye happened to come across a new store front and a too-cool-for-school employee outside taking a quick break. "What's this?", I ask. Looking up at a flapping black and yellow flag, I realized it was the New Dr. Martens Flagship Store. Stepping inside, the store takes on modern industrial design with English rebel flair. Adapted from early skinheads making it a fashion trend, Dr. Martens are now a fashion boot for all people of all working classes and a favorite among fashion icons like Agyness Deyn. The dressing room area has the feel of being backstage at a 1950's rock concert with musical instrument cases piled in different corners. Every design element is well thought of from the stools for trying on a pair of the handmade boots and shoes to the cool photos taken around the shop. The staff of course was very friendly and helpful and answered any questions that I had, including one about a Grand Opening Event on September 16 featuring the band The Dead Milkmen. Be sure to check the store out for yourself and I've even included a video about the history of Dr.Martens, which is pretty interesting. I don't personally own a pair but with a store nearby and so many styles to choose from, who knows what the future holds.

X is for Collab

Ever since the economy has taken a hard turn collabs featuring high fashion designers and celebrities have been popping up all over. This Fall/Winter season look out for partnerships from Karl Lagerfeld x Macy's to the ever anticipated H&M x Versace. So pay attention and mark your calenders!
This line consists of mainly black and white pieces, as expected from a man we know only in a black suit, white dress shirt and black tie. The collection that mimics the look of the man himself and even includes him, is made up of career pieces for the working woman to the everyday tank top.

Macys.com
I honestly don't really love the collection because it's too safe and doesn't look very high fashion. For the man that creates a collection to drool over with Chanel, I guess I expected a little more. To me it blends right in with the rest of the women's contemporary collections that's been there for years. It's a good thing Coco Rocha is doing the ad campaign!

Who doesn't love the Target collabs? This time it's the distinctive pattern of Missoni with a large collection containing over 400 items including men's, women's, children's, home decor and even a bike which is said to retail at $399.99. With sooooo much to choose from I'm sure everyone will find something they like.

And for you fashionable parents out there, look out for Gwen Stefani's collection of children's wear, Harajuku Mini. The mother of two will be extending her love for Japanese culture down to our youth at prices that'll make anyone go B-A-N-A-N-A-S (Get it?!?) Sorry, no pics.

oprah.com
In next month's issue of Oprah's Magazine, The Makeover Issue, J. Lo got to debut some of her collection with the help of "O" Creative Director, Adam Glassman. The spread features J. Lo and eight "real" women who were picked to show off some looks for the everyday woman, but this Ex-Fly Girl wasn't alone in this deal. Supposedly, Ex-hubby (Wait are they divorced yet?) Marc Anthony was added into the equation to include menswear, but now the collections will be promoted separately. On other note, do you guys remember her streetwear line, JLO? Well, I hope this goes better for her.

hm.com
To gain inspiration for the collection Donatella looked back on the archives that made Versace, Versace. Leather, silks, and colorful prints will fill the collection including shoes, jewelry, and other accessories and not to mention home decor that involves cushions and bedspreads. Unfortunately for us, like the fast selling Jimmy Choo collection the closest store to house the goods will be in NYC, but hopefully they'll give KOP or Walnut Street some love!

If you haven't attended the Fashion's Night Out Events before then you need to get on it. This is Vogue's third year throwing the event and every year it get better and better. Fashion's Night Out was started to get the consumer excited about shopping again with parties at your favorite retailers, discounts and more.

I went last year to some of the events in New York, I say some because there are soooo many you won't make them all, but I had a blast. I got to meet designers Kenneth Cole and Rachel Roy, some celebrities, and tons of people who share an extreme love for fashion.

The events take place all over the world including Philly so be sure to check back here for updates, follow Fashion's Night Out on Twitter @fnonyc, or just go to FashionsNightOut.com. Also check out last year's PSA video about the event.
